The damn holiday commercials!! It’s time to write lists and bust out the decorations. I am so not ready!!! I need to start on some hand-made decorations as this years tree theme is all about handmade ornaments. There are so many beautifully made items that i have been given over the years that I thought it would be awesome to show them off. I have a small apartment so I don’t want to get to overwhelmed with decorations. I also need to work on some handmade wrapping paper…oh and and and

I need an Advent Calendar, most assuredly!

Something decorative for the windows

Something for outdoors perhaps?

I love Christmas, but I hate wrapping presents. So much so that I put all the Christmas presents on top of the washing machine so I would be forced to wrap before I could clean my clothes. I end up with paper cut too short, wimpy bows and lackluster presentation.  So, this year I did it my way.

Not one present was wrapped! Thank heaven for tissue paper and gift bags! My living room is now awash with tissue paper and festive bags.  No more chasing the cats as they steal yet another bow off a present. Best of all, I am all done, done, done!

Just seven more days!!!!

I leave you with this….my favorite Christmas song from the Waitresses
