My piggy bank Pin Money yielded a total of $35.41 this time around. I generally take my coins to a Coinstar at my local grocery store. They now have an option of giving you a “gift card” instead of cash. I decided to go with Amazon for my gift card. Well, you get a receipt, with a code, not an actual “gift card”. It was perfect choice. I was able to get four books, a slick writer (it’s a pen that allows you to write on slick surfaces like washi tape or photos) and a Yoga exercise video. Score!
So using my cash envelopes each month and saving the coins gives me about $10.00 per month. Not bad little batch of spending money.
