Love that word! Such a lovely way to label paper that was meant to be thrown away. Well, as a collector of said word, I had to find a way to store it all. But how?
It’s no secret that I frequent the thrift shops on a regular basis, and by regular I mean two to three times a week. I made a two promises to myself when I began thrifting. One was it had to have a purpose (or could be re-purposed) and two, I had to get rid of something (donate what I was not using). So far, this is a workable plan!
Anyway, in my search I came across this really cool Steelmaster lidded file box. ($2.99 and purchased with a 20% discount). It was small enough to throw in bits and pieces of paper, stickers, postcards that I come across. Then, like magic, a week later I came across the index cards! Never opened index cards that fit perfectly in my file box! It was meant to be! (99 cents purchased with 30% member discount!). So this match made in heaven now sits on my storage cart and is stuffed full of ephemera ready to be used!
Oh yeah, I love my junk!
